Thanksgiving Dinner

Yep, way past time I put this stuff up... I was going to do it back in December but got distracted by the stuff life tends to throw at us when we'd rather be doing other things.

Thanksgiving dinner tends to be something of a big deal in my home.  It always has been, but then it became even more important a few years back when my mom died.  Even with just me, my dad and my friend hanging out, watching TV or movies, playing board games and overeating I make a lot of food.  This past year the menu consisted of:

• Roasted Turkey
• Turkey Gravy
• Mashed Potatoes
• Cranberry Wine Sauce
• Cranberry Apple Stuffing
• Green Bean Casserole
• Stuffed Acorn Squash
• Waldorf Salad
• Frozen Cranberry Fluff
• Pecan Pie
• Pumpkin Pie
• Pinot Noir

Back on Thanksgiving '08 the menu was similar, but also simpler:

• Turkey
